The Wall of Sexual Heroes

The Wall of Sexual Heroes is a collective textile art piece featuring embroidered, drawn, printed and appliquėd handkerchiefs celebrating historical and contemporary unsung heroes of sexual emancipation, activism and innovation. Academics, creatives, curators, activists, and friends have kindly shared personal anecdotes about the people, movements, legislation and objects that influenced them artistically, personally, politically and professionally. The Wall is a culmination of their thoughts, accounts and observations.
